Our Resident Involvement team were once again involved in organising the ninth annual Hexagon Seminar at Goldsmiths University in May. This was an opportunity for our residents, who live in properties that are managed by co-operatives, to network and to meet with Hexagon staff.
Rumana Khair, Hexagon’s Stock Improvement Manager, presented ‘Planned Maintenance to Your Home’ which was described by one resident as “very informative and useful.” Stephen Lee, Hexagon’s Head of Housing Services, led a session on ‘Tenancy Succession Rights” which was described by another attendee as an “excellent lively interactive presentation”.’
Around 300 Hexagon residents are managed by co-ops and almost 10% of them attended the seminar. When asked whether they would attend another seminar, there was a 100% satisfaction rate.
The Residents Involvement team were once more pleased to stage an informative and interactive seminar which helps to enhance our residents’ abilities to manage their own day-to-day services within their housing co-ops.
