Residents Forum

Residents Forum

The Residents Forum is a group representing the views and interests of all Hexagon’s residents and works as a consultative and advisory body.

Members of the Forum have a real ability to influence and shape the policies and procedures that guide the delivery of services provided by Hexagon. The Forum helps to make sure that the services provided are what residents really want.

Who We Are

The Forum as a group works in partnership with Hexagon to help keep a clear focus on the needs of residents and to improve service delivery.  For the Forum to be effective and achieve our aims we need a strong group with representatives from all neighbourhoods in which Hexagon has its stock.

The officers of the Forum are:-

Chairperson - Adrian Ingram
Vice Chair - Sharon Brown
Secretary - Barbara Enoe

The Residents Forum holds its Annual General Meeting during Hexagons Residents Day event.

What We Do

This is a group of residents who meet six times a year to discuss issues which affect tenants across all the different areas in which Hexagon works. The Forum is open to all Hexagon residents to attend and become involved.  You can view the Forums constitution by clicking here .

During 2010 the Forum were consulted on:

  • Monitoring Hexagons performance on dealing with complaints
  • Monitoring levels of resident satisfaction with repairs perfromance
  • Planning the Residents Day
  • Being consulted on local standards

How You Can Get Involved

Membership of the Forum is open to any Hexagon resident over the age of 16.  Both Hexagon staff and Forum members are available to provide help, support and induction to new residents who wish to join.  It is also an opportunity to make new friends, participate in useful training events, and discuss housing issues with the intention of shaping the service.
