How much time is required to be a Board Member?
Board Meetings are held eight times a year, on Tuesdays at present. They start at 6.30pm and usually finish by 9.30pm.
You should allow additional time to read reports which are sent out a week prior to the meeting. There is also a Board Members weekend (actually 24 hours) held at a local hotel in the autumn. This gives the opportunity to consider the big issues in more depth.
In addition, according to individual availability, you are invited to attend Hexagon’s official functions such as opening ceremonies, the annual Residents Day, and visits to new housing schemes.
