Deputy Leader opens new Hexagon scheme

Simon Hughes MP meets residents of Falcon Works housing schemeLocal MP for Southwark and Bermondsey and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Simon Hughes, formally opened the ‘Falcon Works’ development scheme in Lynton Road last Friday. The scheme has been developed by Hexagon Housing on the site of old paper mills.

The 93 home scheme provides 34 flats on a part-buy, part-rent basis and 59 for affordable rent. This includes 5 houses on the site for larger families. Many of the residents have been re-located from the Aylesbury Estate in Southwark prior to regeneration of the area.

Simon Hughes MP formally meets the Chair and Chief Executive of HexagonTom McCormack, Hexagon’s Chief Executive said “Hexagon is very proud to have developed these much needed, high quality new homes for Southwark residents.”
