Community Investment

Working closely with residents and service users, the Community Investment Team co-ordinate Hexagon’s initiatives to tackle worklessness, develop time banking and engage young people.

Tackling Worklessness: The Hexagon Academy provides valuable pre-employment skills and experience to unemployed residents and service users, who are also supported through our employment workshops, job search support and other services.

Developing time banking: My Time Your Time is the time bank supported by Hexagon. Focussed on Sydenham, Forest Hill and East Dulwich, it helps neighbours support each other by exchanging their skills and time.

Engaging young people: Young residents and service users are supported through the Hexagon Young Achievers scheme. Successful applicants to this fund receive support with driving lessons, course fees, computer equipment and even trips to theme parks.
