Colours:

Hexagon Poetry Club

Hi, my name is Mark and I like poetry. I’m not an English graduate and didn’t get the best grades in school. Only, I have been interested in poetry for years. I like to read a bit of Wordsworth in the park and enjoy its rhythm while birds sing their songs while we watch the sunset.

I live in a small flat on my own and thought that having a poetry group with my peers from Hexagon Housing Association would be a good idea.

We thought this would be fun for people from around London to have a calm place to get to know each other and maybe even forge a few new friendships. Simply have a good, informal group of people who would like to share their own poetry or their favorite poems and poets.

There is no pressure. You can simply come join us and listen to others’ poetry. You don’t have to read if you are a bit shy, like me,  or you can come and bring your poem and share it with the group.

Welcome to Hexagon’s Poetry Club.

The Poetry Club will be held on Zoom every two weeks, kicking off on Thursday 6th May 2021 at 6pm.
