More new housing for local people

Watling StreetEven amid the pandemic, Hexagon’s Development team are busy ensuring that our planned new homes reach completion and are made available for people in housing need.

Our latest scheme to near completion is at Watling Street, in Bexleyheath, Kent. The scheme, which will be renamed Pankhurst Court, consists of 16 flats (4 x 1 Beds and 12 x 2 Beds), all for social rent.

The homes are well located, right across  from LB Bexley’s Civic Offices and a few minutes from the Bexleyheath shopping centre. Our residents with school-aged children will be pleased to be located within close proximity of two primary and two secondary schools which have achieved very good Ofsted ratings.

Before being re-purposed into new homes, the site was being used by a car dealership. The building has the benefit of PV panels to contribute to the energy use within the scheme.

Our cKitchen at Watling Streetontractor partners on this scheme are Building Associate Limited and consultants, Potter Raper.

The development started on site in 2017, will reach completion in November 2020 and secured £960,000 GLA Funding.
