All Hexagon residents would have recently received ballot papers for this year’s Resident Board Member election. The papers contain statements from the four residents who are standing for the position on Hexagon’s Board. There are two places on the Board this year and residents will therefore have up to two votes.
The candidates are:
Mark Allan - “I am standing for the Hexagon Board because I believe that the voice of residents should be heard strongly as Hexagon deals with difficult times”
Ranna McArdle - “In my ideal world, everyone would have a safe comfortable home at a rent they can afford.”
Kristel van der Meijden - “If elected, it is my intention to find ways to make the best use of Hexagon’s resources.”
Julian Lukwago - “Everyone who uses Hexagon’s housing and care services should be content with the service provided; I want to be involved in making that happen by representing resident concerns and interest on the board.”
You can read the full statements on the ballot form.
The deadline for the return of the ballot papers is Friday, 15th July - so don’t delay in sending back your form. All returned forms will be entered into a prize draw and the lucky winner will receive £50 in Love2Shop vouchers.
